The Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship (FOBE) staff warmly welcomes all visitors, future and current students to our website. We hope you will find the information in this website helpful in planning towards your academic aspirations in business.
The Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship (FOBE) was established to promote understanding of business, economic, financial, management and marketing processes—with particular emphasis on the needs of local, national and regional stakeholders the university serves. This means that all theoretical, as well as practical or vocational, aspects are emphasized in all departments and specialized studies programmes. Amongst others, the focus is to assist you to develop evaluative skills that will enable you to function wisely and to contribute in a meaningful way to the pursuit of sustainable careers in business and economic development in our rapidly changing island nation.
There are seven areas of study that service the needs of the community: Accounting, Banking & Finance, Commercial Law, Economics, Management, Marketing and Sports. These areas of study are offered in the following levels: Foundation, Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Honors programmes. We will also be introducing a Business-Education programme in 2010 in partnership with the Faculty of Education to fulfill the demand for qualified Accounting and Economics teachers in Secondary Schools.
