Faculty of Science
Overview
Faculty of Science offers programs for those who wish to do further studies in the
Science, Mathematics&Statistics and Computing.Courses are available for the
upgrade and advancement of the content knowledge in various areas, ranging from
environmental management to being computer literate in this modern technological
age, suitable for personal and professional development.
Minimum entry requirements for first year courses in the Science Faculty are generally
passes in the relevant courses at the Foundation Year level or equivalent. Otherwise
students are recommended to seek the advice of the respective heads of departments
for referral to the appropriate bridging courses. More details on prerequisites for each
course are listed under course information.
The Basic Certificate in Science, and the Certificates in Science, Mathematics and
Computer Studies are highly recommended for the mature entrants who have accumulated
substantial work experience in their field of work and are seeking to improve or upgrade
their content knowledge.
