WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SAMOA
The National University of Samoa (NUS; Le Iunivesite Aoao o Samoa) is the only national university in Samoa. Established in 1984 by an Act of Parliament, the university is co-educational and provides certificate, diploma, and undergraduate degree programs, as well as technical and vocational training.
About 3,500 students are currently enrolled (2015) with an estimated 300 staff. It offers undergraduate, graduate and post graduate programmes through its six faculties consisting of a Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Medicine, and a Faculty of Science, as well as its Centre for Samoan Studies and its Oloamanu Centre for Professional Development and Continuing Education.
