The Faculty of Applied Science is the newest faculty at NUS comprising 3 departments.

  • Department of Construction
  • Department of Electro-Engineering
  • Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Faculty offers a Bachelor of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, as well as a wide range of vocational programmes for students with an interest in an engineering-related trade, or hortriculture. In the engineering fields, students use well-equipped workshops to develop practical skills in programmes in Automotive Engineering, Construction and Joinery, Fitting and Machining, Panel-beating and Spray Painting, Plumbing, Radio and Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Welding and Metal Fabrication. Courses for Horticulture courses cover all facets of crop production and protection.
