The Faculty of Arts (FOA) is the founding faculty of the National University of Samoa and has as its core functions the teaching programmes and research in the different disciplines within the Arts and Humanities tradition. It is comprised of: 

The Department of English and Foreign Languages (offering English Language, English Literature, Chinese Language, French Language and Japanese Language Courses)

The Department of Media and Communication (offering Communication Skills and Journalism courses)

The Department of Social Sciences (offering Anthropology, Geography, History, Politics and Sociology courses).
